Eliton is a Visiting Research Fellow of Transformative Learning Technologies Lab (TLTL) at Teachers College – Columbia University in New York and, also is the pedagogical director of Amado Maker Editora. He holds a Doctor’s Degree in Education from the University of São Paulo and a Master’s Degree in Educational Knowledge and Practices from the Federal University of Uberlandia. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant for the educational public sector in Brazil, focusing on the implementation and development of projects in education and technology. Early in his career, he worked as an educational coordinator of an NGO in a government program to develop professional courses in Brazil and as a math teacher at public and private schools, and also as a professor of teaching and technological practices at public and private universities. He grew up in Brazil, where he majored in mathematics.
