Renato Russo

Renato is an educator and research fellow at the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab. He recently graduated from Stanford University’s Learning, Design and Technology Master’s program and his interests encompass equity in technology education, curriculum design, and digital citizenship. As a graduate student at Stanford Graduate School of Education, his coursework focused on theories of learning and the learning sciences, plus research methods and practices. Prior to Stanford, his educational background includes formal training in design thinking at HPI d.school (Potsdam, Germany); a Business Communication degree at FGV, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication at ESPM, both in Brazil. As a professional in education, his experiences include coordinating a team responsible for developing online learning experiences to K-12 teachers; leading curricula redesign for pre-service teacher education; and systematization of classroom practices.
