Patrícia Fernanda da Silva holds a degree in Exact Sciences, a Master’s in Science Education from Univates, a PhD in Informatics in Education, and a Postdoctoral degree in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Specialized Studies at the School of Education and a Permanent Faculty Member of the Graduate Program in Informatics in Education at the Interdisciplinary Center for New Technologies in Education. Her research focuses on the use of virtual and real laboratories, virtual learning environments, the Scratch programming language, and digital competencies for educators. In 2024, she was a Visiting Professor at the University of Aveiro.
