Rodrigo Silva Duran holds a degree in Computer Science from the State University of Londrina (2002), a Master’s in Computer Science from USP (2005), and a PhD in Computer Science from Aalto University (2020). He is currently a faculty member at the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul. Rodrigo’s work focuses on programming education, with an emphasis on assessing the cognitive complexity of programs, evaluating programming knowledge through self-assessment tools, and teaching introductory programming courses. He is the current coordinator of CE-ducomp, a board member of ACM SIGCSE, associate editor of ACM Transactions on Computing Education (TOCE), and deputy editor-in-chief of RBIE.
